BioDejapes? It's the phonetic version of a familiar shortening of the given name of the author of this live journal.
Said author uses dejapes to identify himself online, following the established net tradition of using pseudonyms with etymology unfamiliar to strangers. Functionally, the author finds little difference between the pseudonym 'dejapes' and any of his given names or variants thereof. Thus, he enjoys an ambivalent attitude concerning the sounds used by others to identify him, instead finding significance in the context and word choices with multiple simultaneous definitions. Impolite use of the latter, however, can be met with a punch to the face.
As for the facts of circumstance that fit the author into common world views, the following can be said of him.
- He is a young adult, unmarried and without children.
- He is entering graduate school in the field of law.
- He was born in the Philippines and is currently a resident alien in the United States.
